إيميلي الفارسة

My daughter has been asking to read this every night since it arrived. The premise of Émilie stuck at home with a virus and dreaming about horses is really sweet, and she now wants riding lessons.

My daughter is 5 and she asked to read this every night for a week straight, which never happens. The whole premise of Émilie stuck at home because of a virus turning to horseback riding really clicked for her. Short enough to finish before bed without a fight.

I picked this up for my niece while she was stuck at home sick, and the premise of Émilie dreaming up horseback riding to pass the time landed perfectly. The illustrations kept her pointing at details for a solid twenty minutes.
