الجبل والأشجار الكبيرة

My class loved how the mountain stories tied straight into our "me and my environment" unit. The French is simple enough for my immersion kids, and the science connections on trees sparked a great discussion.

I used these French stories with my grade 2 class during our science unit on trees, and the kids stayed hooked the whole time. Being in French is a bonus for our immersion program, and the mountain theme fit right into our environment lessons.

The stories tie in nicely with our social studies unit on the environment, which saved me a ton of prep time. My son actually asked to read the mountain one again, and he usually fights me on French reading. Only wish there were a few more titles in the series.
