The multidisciplinary angle is what sold me — I can pull one story into science, math, and social studies without hunting for extra material. The discussion questions at the end of each section sparked way better conversations than I expected from my class.

I've been using this with my grade 3 French immersion class and the multidisciplinary activities tied to the story made it so easy to connect reading with our science unit. The discussion questions alone saved me hours of planning. Worth every penny.

I grabbed this guide to plan a French unit and ended up using the same story for math and social studies too. Having the multidisciplinary activities laid out per chapter honestly saved me a ton of prep time with my split class.
