I picked this up for our winter science unit, and the stories tying outdoor play to health and relaxation fit right in. The French is simple enough that my eight-year-old can follow along without me translating every line.

My kids loved the stories about outdoor winter play – the science facts kept them curious while the health themes made it easy to discuss relaxation. A great find for bilingual families.

I've been using the winter science stories to teach my kids about snow and it's a fun way to combine reading and learning. Just wish the resource included a few more outdoor activity ideas to go with the tales.
