The avoir expressions like "avoir faim" and "avoir raison" finally stuck after a few rounds of Go Fish instead of flashcards. My students actually ask to play it, which never happens with vocabulary drills. Cards feel sturdy enough for regular classroom use too.

Played this with my two kids at the kitchen table and they were begging for another round. The Go Fish format sneaks in "avoir" phrases like "avoir faim" and "avoir soif" without it feeling like homework. Only wish the deck had a few more cards, but we've already used it three nights in a row.

The cards cover way more avoir expressions than I expected, and the go fish format actually makes my students ask for them in French without thinking about it. We've played four rounds this week and they're still not bored.
