Sandy's $20

My 7-year-old really connected with Sandy's dilemma of choosing between a toy and a book, and it sparked a great conversation about budgeting. The way the story lays out her decision-making process is clear and engaging for early elementary kids.

I grabbed this for my 7-year-old who's just starting to get an allowance, and the premise of deciding how to spend $20 felt really timely for her. The English text is simple enough that she can read most of it herself, which is a nice bonus.

The story does a good job showing kids the trade-offs of spending versus saving, which sparked a real conversation with my daughter. I just wish the text were a bit longer for the price.
