Stories that Count - Grade 2

The teacher's guide is packed with activities that saved me hours of prep—my second graders loved the take-home booklets and couldn't stop talking about Cody's story.

My kids actually fight over who gets to read the Sandy and Maminata stories first, and the little book format makes it easy for them to hold. The teacher's guide is packed with so many activities that I've used it for three different lesson plans already.

The take-home activities are a lifesaver for reinforcing the stories at home, and my daughter actually asks to read the little books before bed. Seeing her connect with the characters makes the extra copies worth it.
