My kids actually ask for Paul and Sparky stories now, which I never expected. The four Teacher's Guides save me so much planning time since the activities are already laid out for each story.

The little book copies are a lifesaver for small group reading since every kid gets their own instead of crowding around one page. Fourteen stories with the same characters means my class already knows Paul and Sparky by name. The teacher's guides gave me activities I could use the same day.

My students actually cheer when I pull out the little books, and the characters Paul, Susan, and Sparky have become regulars in our classroom conversations. Having five copies of each story means my reading groups can all follow along without me scrambling to print extra.
