Die drei Schweinchen und der geheimnisvolle Besucher

The illustrations by Chantal Piché really bring the three pigs to life, and my daughter loves pointing out the mysterious visitor hiding in each scene. It’s a clever twist on the classic tale that kept her guessing until the very end. We’ve already read it three times this week.

The illustrations by Chantal Piché are so charming, and the story about pigs building their house is just the right length for a cozy bedtime read. My French-learning kids picked up new vocabulary naturally while following the little mystery. Really a lovely addition to our bookshelf.

My kids kept asking to read this one again every night—the three pigs building their winter house is a simple setup, but the pacing is just right for a bedtime story. The French text is clear enough that I didn’t have to stumble through it, which is a relief for a non-native reader.
