The debate cards got my quietest kid talking for ten minutes straight about trade routes. We played a full round in under an hour and nobody reached for their phone once.

Bought this for a family game night and we ended up playing three rounds straight. The trade cards spark some genuinely funny debates about who got the better deal, and my kids picked up the vocabulary without realizing they were learning.

My students actually argue about the fur trade now instead of zoning out, which says a lot. The trading cards make the bartering rounds feel competitive, though the rule sheet could explain scoring more clearly. Solid for a history unit.
