¡A Pescar! - Het werkwoord "tener"

My students were struggling with "tener" idioms until we pulled this card game out. The Go Fish format made them forget they were studying, and they were using the phrases correctly by the end of class.

We played this during our homeschool Spanish block and the card game format made conjugations stick way better than any worksheet. The deck is sturdy enough for repeated shuffling, and it’s genuinely fun—my son kept asking for “one more round” to practice “tener” idioms.

My kids actually beg to play this Spanish card game, and I've seen them pick up the "tener" expressions way faster than with flashcards. The go-fish mechanic makes repetition feel natural instead of like drilling.
