De markt

The photos of Maminata's market day are so vivid that my son kept pointing at the baskets and asking if we could go too; the French text is short enough for his level but still introduces real vocabulary like "le poisson" and "les légumes." A lovely little window into another kid's world.

My daughter loved following Maminata through her daily routine—the market scenes feel so vivid, and the simple French sentences are just right for her level. The 20 pages are packed with enough detail to spark conversation without overwhelming a beginner reader.

Maminata’s perspective makes this level 3 reader feel like a real trip to the market, and the short 20 pages are just right for building confidence.
