Петрик і Оленка - Готуємося до зими is a large-format educational picture book designed to support early language learning through simple stories, repetition, and engaging illustrations.

Part of a 20-book collection, this title introduces young children to everyday vocabulary and key concepts using the familiar and getting ready for winter. 

Through short, easy-to-follow sentences and colorful illustrations, children follow Петрик and Оленка as they get ready for winter.

Each section focuses on a specific theme—such as body parts, clothing, movement, food, family, temperature, colors, emotions, space, and time—making the book an effective tool for vocabulary development and comprehension.

Originally published in French and loved by little French learners for more than 30 years, all 20 books have been carefully translated and adapted into Ukrainian and are ideal for classrooms, language programs, and families supporting early bilingual or Ukrainian-language learning.
