My six-year-old loved learning about Cody's daily life through the vibrant illustrations by Brigitte Gobeil. It sparked great questions about Indigenous culture and traditional practices that made for a wonderful bedtime conversation.

Cody's story is a gentle, meaningful way to introduce kids to Indigenous culture, and the 20-page length is just right for a bedtime read. My daughter asked to read it again right after we finished.

The illustrations by Brigitte Gobeil really bring Cody’s world to life, and at 20 pages it’s the perfect length for a bedtime read with my kids. We’ve already gone through it three times since it arrived, and my son keeps asking about the dream catcher on the cover.
