Daniel S. ★★★★★

My 11-year-old actually asks to read these, which never happens with school stuff. The money lessons in this one sparked a real conversation about saving up for a bike. Nice that it's part of a 12-book set covering citizenship too.

John ★★★★★

Bought this for my 9-year-old who's suddenly obsessed with saving her allowance, and the story actually got her thinking about why communities pool money together. It's fiction, not a lecture, which is exactly why she kept reading past chapter two.

Carter ★★★★★

My 10-year-old actually asked me questions about budgeting after we read the chapter on needs versus wants together, which never happens with school books. The 12-book set breaks things down in small enough chunks that he doesn't lose interest halfway through.
